Suffern Farmers' Market

The Suffern Farmers’ Market (SFM) seeks to promote regional sustainable agriculture and to provide fresh, seasonal foods and local plants, unique farm products and hand-made goods for our community. The SFM strives to be a producer-only market. SFM also works to:  Educate consumers about eating seasonally and locally through the interaction of growers, producers and shoppers.  Support local farmers and other agricultural producers, by providing a market place to sell.  Offer the consumer a source of locally grown and produced seasonal agricultural products, made from scratch baked goods and other prepared foods and unique hand crafted items made by area artisans.  Foster social gathering and strengthen community fabric by providing a center of activity.  Promote a pedestrian friendly culture in the historic downtown district of Suffern.
