Westchester Chorale

The Westchester Chorale is an auditioned avocational chorus whose mission is to present outstanding performances of the great choral literature for the benefit of residents of Westchester County and the Lower Hudson Valley. 

An inclusive group of enthusiastic singers, the Chorale strives to enhance the vocal abilities and musicianship of its members, present works by both celebrated and lesser-known composers, and engage in musical outreach to enrich the broader community.

Since 1965 we have worked  music in the context of musical fellowship with one another, and the inspiration of rehearsing and performing with the professional musicians who comprise our vocal soloists and instrumentalists. We strive at each of our performances to present opportunities for the audience to deepen their understanding and appreciation of the cultural, historical and musical context in which the masterworks we perform were created. Together, our music director and our singers are committed to combining the highest possible level of musicianship with the pure joy of choral singing to create a transcendent musical experience for our audience and our members.
