Chestnut Ridge Middle School

Chestnut Ridge Middle School, one of two middle schools in the East Ramapo Central School District, welcomes approximately 550 pupils. The school serves students in grades 7 and 8, including more than 30 distinct nationalities. Chestnut Ridge is an International Baccalaureate Candidate School. As members of the East Ramapo Central School District, our mission along with the International Baccalaureate is to educate the whole child by providing a Healthy, Safe, Supportive, Engaging, and Challenging learning environment. The International Baccalaureate Organization will work with our school to create a rigorous program encouraging students to become active, compassionate, lifelong learners through the Learner Profile.
