2026-2027 After School Creativity Academy Volunteers

New Era Creative Space (NECS) is seeking caring, enthusiastic volunteers to support its After School Creativity Academy. Every afternoon, young people come to NECS looking for a safe, creative, and welcoming environment where they can learn, build confidence, and discover their talents.

Volunteers may assist in one or more of the following areas:

• Walking students safely from school or designated bus stops to NECS
• Supporting Teaching Artists during art, music, STEM, media, and creative workshops
• Mentoring students through homework help, games, snack time, and relationship building
• Assisting with classroom setup, cleanup, and daily program operations

• Program runs September 2, 2026-June 25, 2027 every weekday (Monday through Friday) from 3-6 p.m.
• Volunteers may serve for one day per week or multiple days

No teaching experience is required. Volunteers who are dependable, positive, patient, and excited to support young people are encouraged to express interest.
