Meal Delivery Drivers

Meals on Wheels of White Plains is recruiting dependable volunteers who can use their own vehicles to help deliver meals, offer a warm greeting, and provide a safety check to clients throughout White Plains. Volunteers may choose to drive and deliver meals to clients' doorsteps on their own or work as a team with one person driving and another carrying the meals.

Time Commitment:

• Meal deliveries take place on Mondays and Thursdays at 10:30 a.m.
• Deliveries typically take about 60–90 minutes to complete

Volunteer Requirements:

• Must be 21+
• Must have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and current insurance
• Must be dependable, courteous, and comfortable following a route
• Must be able to carry meals, walk up and down stairs, and lift 5-10 pounds
• A desire to make a meaningful difference for neighbors in the community!

Volunteering helps clients remain safely and independently in their homes while receiving nutritious meals and a friendly visit. Every route delivered is an act of care, connection, and community support.
