Green Squad
Every Saturday from April to November, Lasdon Public Garden's Green Squad Volunteers help keep the park looking beautiful. Green Squad volunteers work with Lasdon staff on tasks such as invasive species removal, planting, watering, weeding, trail maintenance, mulching, trash clean up, and more. The scheduled tasks will rotate weekly throughout Lasdon's 234 acres.
No experience is necessary. Wear weather-appropriate clothes (coat, rain gear, hat, sunscreen, insect repellent), closed-toed footwear, and pants. Gloves and tools will be provided, but volunteers should bring their own snacks, lunch, and water bottle. This opportunity is perfect for families, teens 15+, and for groups.
