Gift Shop Volunteers
The Scarsdale Woman’s Exchange is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join its charming nonprofit gift shop team. This is the perfect role for volunteers who enjoy meeting people, creating beautiful displays, and being part of a welcoming community. Gift Shop Volunteers play an important role in making the shop a special place for every customer.
Volunteer responsibilities include:
- Assisting customers
- Gift wrapping purchases
- Unpacking and organizing inventory
- Helping keep the shop neat, inviting, and well organized
Shifts available:
- Morning: 10 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
- Afternoon: 1:30 p.m.-5 p.m.
Time commitment:
- A weekly commitment whenever possible is preferred to help volunteers become familiar with the inventory and provide the best experience for customers
- The shop is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
- The shop is closed for the summer from July 1-August 31
