Board Members
The Garrison Art Center seeks passionate community members to join its Board of Directors and help support one of the Hudson Valley’s longest-standing nonprofit arts organizations. Founded in 1964, the Art Center connects and enriches lives by fostering an open environment for the creation and appreciation of visual art.
The Garrison Art Center welcomes board members with experience in areas such as finance, law, marketing, fundraising, arts administration, architecture, and community engagement. A love of the arts and strong connections in the community is especially valuable.
Board Member responsibilities include:
- Attending bi-monthly board meetings
- Serving on at least one committee
- Supporting fundraising initiatives and events
- Acting as an ambassador for the Art Center in the community
Board members are asked to “give or get” $3,000 annually through personal contributions, fundraising, or securing sponsorships and donations. This is a volunteer leadership opportunity for individuals who want to help sustain arts education, exhibitions, and community programs in the Hudson Valley. Express interest below!
