2026 Soul Ryeders Half Marathon and 5K

Soul Ryeders is looking for volunteers to assist with its fourth annual Half-Marathon and 5K. All volunteers will receive a T-shirt during volunteer check-in the day before the race.

Volunteers must meet the minimum age requirement next to each specific role below in order to volunteer for the activity on their own; volunteers as young as 10 can help so long as they register as part of an adult's team (adult volunteer must be 18+ and be present alongside the youth volunteer).

Volunteers can express interest in one of the following roles:

5/16: Day Before Race

• Packet Pickup Shift #1 (7:30 a.m.-12 p.m.): Volunteers must be 16+
• Packet Pickup Shift #2 (11:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.): Volunteers must be 16+

5/17: Race Day

• General Volunteer Shift #1 (6 a.m.-9 a.m.): Volunteers must be 16+
• Water Station Help (6:15 a.m.-11:30 a.m.): Volunteers must be 16+
• Course Cyclists (7 a.m.-11 a.m.): Volunteers must be 18+ and use own bike
• Photographers (7 a.m.-12 p.m.): Volunteers must be 16+ and use own professional camera (NOT smartphone); memory card will be provided
• Course Marshals (7:15 a.m.-11:30 a.m.): Volunteers must be 17+
• General Volunteer Shift #2 (8:45 a.m.-11:45 a.m.): Volunteers must be 16+

5/17: Post-Race

• End of Race Volunteers (10 a.m.-1:30 p.m.): Volunteers must be 16+ and able to carry 20 pounds
