Garden Squad
Volunteers will work alongside gardeners at Lasdon Park to keep the gardens looking beautiful. Volunteer tasks may include planting, watering, weeding, pruning, staking, deadheading, potting, mulching, removing invasive species, trail maintenance, and picking up litter. No experience is necessary!
Volunteers should wear clothing that can get dirty and is appropriate for weather (closed-toe footwear, long pants, hat, rain gear). Gloves and tools will be provided, but volunteers should bring their own snacks, lunch, water bottle, sunscreen, and insect repellant.
This is a great opportunity to learn about gardening and preserving green spaces while having fun with family, friends, and coworkers.
