2025 FAFSA Boot Camp Volunteers

Completing FAFSA financial aid applications is a crucial step in the college admissions journey—and it's one that many first-generation students struggle with. Volunteers can help by supporting the families of local school districts as they complete and submit their FAFSA and, in some cases, NYS TAP applications.

Latino U College Access (LUCA) is looking for volunteers to assist first-generation students and their families with completing and submitting their financial aid applications. All volunteers will be given resources, including a virtual training recording, prior to starting a Boot Camp. Staff members are also present at all sessions to work alongside volunteers, offer support, and answer questions.

All FAFSA Boot Camp Volunteers must register following the steps below. This school year's Boot Camp schedule, which occurs on Thursday evenings, is:

• 10/23 from 5-8 p.m. at Ossining High School
• 10/30 from 5-8 p.m. at White Plains High School
• 11/6 from 5-8 p.m. at Port Chester High School
• 11/13 from 5-8 p.m. at Peekskill High School
• 12/4 from 5-8 p.m. at Port Chester High School
• 12/18 from 6-9 p.m. at Sleepy Hollow High School
