Farm and Field Day
The farm crew at Cropsey Community Farm is looking for volunteers to assist in its fields and greenhouses every Thursday from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Volunteers will help with tasks such as harvesting, planting, seeding, and weeding. All supplies, tools, and gloves will be provided.
Volunteers must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, bend over, and kneel for extended periods of time. Snacks will be available for purchase at the market starting at noon. There is filtered water in the farm's kitchen; please bring reusable water bottles.
This is a great opportunity for office groups seeking team-building activities, school groups who want to learn about the environment, and any volunteer who is looking to build a sense of community and complete fulfilling work outdoors. Express interest in one or more shifts below!
