Neighborhood Survey Volunteers

One Paso is looking for dedicated volunteers to help it better understand the needs and concerns of the local community. Neighborhood Surveyors will walk through the area surrounding the One Paso community center to engage in conversations with residents and complete short surveys. The information gathered will help One Paso expand and improve the services it offers—from wellness programs and support groups to youth initiatives and resource assistance.

This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in community engagement, grassroots work, or social services.

Responsibilities:

• Walk through designated neighborhoods around the center
• Engage residents in friendly, respectful conversations
• Ask survey questions and record responses accurately
• ​Share any feedback or stories heard in the field that might help inform One Paso's services

Requirements:

• Comfortable speaking with strangers and approaching people respectfully
• Reliable and committed to scheduled volunteer hours
• Must be 16 years or older (youth under 18 require parental consent)
• ​Spanish or bilingual speakers strongly encouraged to apply!

Time Commitment:

• Flexible shifts available: minimum of 2 hours per shift. A brief orientation will be provided before the first shift

Volunteers will receive community service credit, a One Paso T-shirt, and survey materials.
