Baby Bundle Program Helpers
Open Door Family Medical Center is seeking volunteer assistance in making calls to community partners on behalf of its Baby Bundles program. Prenatal patients are given bags full of diapers, wipes, clothing, bibs, a toy, a book, and more—all items donated by community organizations, individuals, and corporate friends. This bundle includes an envelope that contains resources for the new moms, including information from community partners. Volunteers will make sure that the information in these inserts is accurate, up-to-date, and current programs are included.
Hours are flexible and can be determined with staff.
Open Door Family Medical Center's Baby Bundles provide prenatal patients with newborn necessities and information about resources available at Open Door and in the community. Each Baby Bundle is packed with basic newborn essentials: diapers, wipes, sleep sack, onesies, socks, baby toy, cloth bib, newborn thermometer, baby book and seasonal clothes.
