Volunteers to Play with Kids
5 Steps to Five is a nonprofit parenting education program designed for new and expectant mothers, as well as families with children from birth to 36 months. The program focuses on nurturing parent-child relationships, supporting child development, and promoting positive parenting practices through education and community resources.
Volunteers are needed to engage with children through play using toys, games, and activities provided by the program while their parents participate in educational activities in the same room. Volunteers will support a safe, joyful, and stimulating environment for children while staff are available to assist if needed. This volunteer support allows the parents to get the most out of their educational experience.
Ideal volunteers have a big heart and a joyful spirit who enjoy working with young children. Volunteers are needed on Tuesdays from 9-11:15 a.m. Unfortunately, court-mandated volunteers are not accepted for this activity at this time.
