2025 Community Garden Kickoff and Grow Bag Giveaway
Join D.I.G. Farm and Westchester Land Trust at the First Presbyterian Church community garden in Mount Vernon. Volunteers will be planting and seeding up the garden, as well as receive a free five-gallon grow bag filled with veggies to take home and enjoy. This will be a fun day filled with music, snacks, a cooking demonstration and tasting, free kids' books, free seeds, and informational tables teaching about pollinators, wild plants, herbs, and gardening. Get your hands a little dirty and have a lot of fun learning how to grow your own food!
