2025 I Love My Park Day

I Love My Park Day is a statewide day of cleaning up state parks that is organized by Parks & Trails New York (PTNY); the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation (OPRHP); and local Friends groups. This annual event aims to celebrate and enhance New York's parks and historic sites and bring visibility to the entire park system and its needs.

Volunteers are needed to join Rockefeller State Park Preserve staff and the Friends of Rockefeller State Park Preserve in cleaning up the invasive vines at Rockwood Hall. Long pants, long sleeves, and sturdy shoes are recommended. Work gloves will be available, but volunteers are welcome to bring their own. Bring a water bottle and snack; additional water and snacks will be provided.
