Creative Writers for Puppies
Individuals who love to write can use their storytelling skills to support the journey of future guide dogs! Creative Writing Volunteers will help Guiding Eyes for the Blind honor the supporters behind its pups by transforming puppy updates into 2-4 page stories that follow each pup’s journey—from cuddly beginnings to future guide dog.
Requirements:
- Receive puppy updates from raisers or trainers
- Craft heartfelt, engaging stories for sponsors and donors
Qualifications:
- Strong writing skills
- Familiarity with (or interest in learning about) puppy raising
- Love for dogs and the people they'll one day guide
There are more than 100 special-named pups in the program and each one has a story that deserves to be told. Volunteers can write from home and on their own time. Express interest below!
