Public Relations Manager
The Martin Luther King Freedom Library is seeking a Public Relations Manager who is passionate about connecting with the community and spreading the word about the library's many resources and services.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate events to raise awareness of the library in the local community
- Develop and execute publicity campaigns to highlight library programs and services
- Write and distribute press releases to media outlets as needed
- Build relationships with community organizations and media contacts to enhance the library's visibility
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Creativity and enthusiasm for community outreach
- Experience in public relations, marketing, or event planning
- Passion for supporting the library's mission and connecting people to resources
