2025 MLK Day Teen Boutique Volunteers
The Sharing Shelf was founded to address clothing insecurity and meet the basic needs of low income children and teens in Westchester County while bringing them dignity and respect so they can thrive. Committed to the whole child—from birth through age 19—the Sharing Shelf provides a week's worth of seasonally appropriate clothing and essentials, including diapers for infants and toddlers, toiletry kits, period products, new socks, new underwear, and school supplies.
To honor the MLK Day of Service, the Sharing Shelf is inviting volunteers to help with visual merchandising and restocking the Teen Boutique, its free clothing store for teens. This is a great opportunity to learn about the Teen Boutique and many other volunteer opportunities at the Sharing Shelf in the coming months.
Interested volunteers should express interest below and a staff member of the Sharing Shelf will reach out with details about the project. Volunteers 14-17 must register as part of an adult's team. Registration is required; no walk-ins allowed!
Age Minimum (with Adult): 14+, Minimum Age:18+
