2024 Fall Community Cleanups

The Town of Rye is looking for volunteers to assist in cleaning up various sites around the community. Volunteers will pick up trash and debris and clear invasive vines using their own supplies. Volunteers are asked to bring trash-grabbers, gloves, pruners, trowels, shears, spades, and anything else that may help them with the cleanup. Please wear closed-toe shoes, long pants, bug spray, and sunscreen, and bring your own filled, reusable hydration bottle.

Volunteers are needed for the following cleanup areas:

• Abendroth Park (Port Chester)
• Bird Homestead and Meeting House (City of Rye)
• Bowman Avenue (Rye Brook)
• Crawford Park (Town of Rye)
• Mamaroneck River (Rye Neck)
