Bilingual Survey Volunteers
The Westchester County Hispanic Advisory Board, along with Pace University, has launched a survey to identify the needs of the Hispanic and Latino community. The results of this survey will influence both policies and resources for this growing population, with the goal of enabling all to thrive. Survey topics include childcare, education, employment, housing, nutrition, and mental and physical health.
Volunteers are needed to help encourage Westchester County residents of Hispanic or Latino descent who are 18+ to take this survey by passing out fliers or encouraging them to scan the QR code. All materials will be provided to volunteers, and court-ordered or community service hours will be verified.
Volunteer requirements:
- Must be 18+
- Must understand or speak some Spanish
- Must be comfortable walking a mile on foot, carrying a stack of fliers, and encouraging neighbors to participate in a survey
- Must be able to commit to Fridays at 10 a.m. and volunteer for 1-2 hours
- Must be able to travel to Port Chester to pick up materials (bus service is available near Port Chester)
