2024 Camp Success Summer Camp Volunteers
Camp Success is a seven-week, mobile summer day camp program for youth ages 5 to 17 who have been diagnosed with a Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED). Each day (Monday through Thursday), the campers head to a different destination to experience a variety of activities before being picked up and returned to their homes.
Volunteers are needed in the following areas:
- Prep for the day (8-9 a.m.):
- Pack up food and drink
- Assist staff in preparing activities for each day's trip
- Help with cleanup and organizing (4-6 p.m.)
- Support the staff of social workers, teachers, and specially trained recreation counselors during trips, and engage campers in activities and sports (9 a.m.-4 p.m.)
Volunteers will be required to participate in an orientation and must be 21 years of age. Camp runs through mid-August. This opportunity is ideal for college students studying psychology and behavioral health. Express interest below!
