2024 Passover Seder Service Volunteers

The Knolls is seeking volunteers to help assist with its Passover Seder celebration for its Jewish residents.

Volunteer tasks include:

• Setup: distribute booklets, place the Seder plates (with specific food items), ensure there are enough plates and seats for everyone (this may require carrying chairs and tables)
• During Seder: pour drinks for residents, bring extra napkins, assist residents with finding their seats, place walkers outside of the room for safety, assist with locating the correct pages so residents can follow the service and readings, observe the room for safety, and make sure that everyone is seated comfortably and has all the required items for the service
• After Seder: ensure that residents safely arrive to the first floor for dinner by escorting them to the stairs or elevators
• Cleanup: collect booklets for lead volunteer, remove all food from the room and place leftovers into garbage bags/bins, fold tables and place them in the closet, other cleanup duties as needed
