Board Member (Secretary)

The Center for Aging in Place (CAP) is seeking Board Members to help the organization expand its community of support to elevate its public profile, evaluate its strategic plan, and increase funding. Board members should be passionate about the Aging in Place concept and support citizens' desire to remain independent at home and engaged in community life as they grow older.

The Board Secretary will handle correspondence, record and distribute minutes, and serve on the executive committee. Board members attend approximately 10 board meetings throughout the year.

The mission of the Center for Aging in Place (CAP), a non-profit organization affiliated with the National Village-to-Village Network, is to develop and support grassroots aging-in-place organizations in Westchester County working to improve the quality of life for older adults who choose to live at home and stay engaged in community life.
