Friendly Visits with Seniors
This is a great family project!
Come with your children to visit seniors at the nursing home. Volunteers will spend time with seniors and participate in a variety of activities ranging from playing Bingo to reading aloud. Bring a little sunshine to the residents!
Did you know that seniors who are connected to their communities experience measurable improvements in their physical, social, spiritual, emotional, mental and economic well-being?

About Somers Manor: Somers Manor Nursing Home believes in the principle that all of the residents of our facility shall be afforded every opportunity to continue to live as self-determining adults with their individuality remaining intact. Our goal is to provide a home-like atmosphere for all of our residents, albeit under the necessary constraints of institutional living.
