Help Bring Cheer to Seniors

Did you know that seniors who are connected to their communities experience measurable improvements in their physical, social, spiritual, emotional, mental and economic well-being?

Something as simple as a meal, note or phone call can go a long way to keeping a senior, especially a homebound senior, connected to the community.

Volunteers are needed to create "thinking of you" or "sunshine" and "get well" cards for the WJCS Senior Programs.

Join us--whether for 1 card, a few or an hour--throughout the afternoon. Volunteer and origami expert Bernice will be at the County Center 12-1:30pm to help volunteers make beautiful and creative cards.

This project is a part of 9/11: Serve + Remember.

*This is a family-friendly project for children 5 and over with an adult. If you are interested in signing up as a family, please choose Sign up with a team. Thanks!
