Food Drive--donate nonperishable proteins

An estimated 200,000 Westchester children, seniors and their families are hungry or at risk for hunger. Donate to the food drive to benefit the Food Bank for Westchester, which provides over 95% of all the food  that is distributed to the over 265 front-line hunger-relief programs in the county.

Protein is one of the items in greatest need in the hunger-relief programs, so we are collecting proteins: canned/pouch tuna, canned beans and peanut butter.

Items needed:

  • Canned or pouch tuna (packed in water)
  • Canned beans
  • Peanut Butter
Volunteers are needed to donate food items. Drop off items any time between 12 and 6pm on the 2nd floor of the County Center.

Contact Katie if you are interested in hosting a mini drive in your office, house of worship or neighborhood.

*This is a family-friendly project for children of all ages. If you are interested in signing up as a family, please choose Sign up with a team. Thanks!
