2023 Fall Service Project (Teens Only)
Westchester Youth Alliance is calling on teen volunteers to help an organic community farm harvest vegetables, pick eggs, and prepare the farm for fall—all while learning about food insecurity in Westchester. Volunteers should wear work boots and clothes that can get dirty; all volunteers will be treated to an ice cream break and will be able to take veggies home with them.
Fable Farm is a farm and food hub dedicated to sustainable agriculture and education. They believe that through dedication, hard work, and modern technological advancements in agriculture, we can provide the freshest produce all year round without the use of harmful pesticides. Fable Farm's produce is sustainably grown in the Hudson Valley and has set the standard of excellence in local fruit, vegetable, and egg production.
