Outdoor Carpentry Assistant for the Parks
Westchester Parks Foundation is seeking a part-time volunteer to assist the Westchester County Parks staff carpenter with various jobs in the parks. This role is ideal for a volunteer who can perform physical labor, including carrying tools and supplies in and out of trails and assisting with the building of small bridges, fences, and other small structures in the parks. No carpentry experience is required—this position is right for anyone with a willingness to learn.
This role is perfect for retirees with carpentry skills, individuals who want to develop their carpentry skills, or any volunteer who loves working outdoors, improving their local parks, and giving back to their communities. Express interest below!
