2023 Bilingual Technology Assistants - Yonkers
Neighbors Link is looking for Technology Teaching Assistants to help an instructor with their technology workshops, including setting up the laptops, mouse pads, and papers; assisting the (adult) students with logging in; pointing out relevant applications such as Google Docs and Gmail; and assisting with class exercises such as typing, highlighting using a mouse, etc. The class covers basic technology concepts, so volunteers don't need to be a tech wiz. Basic to intermediate Spanish skills are helpful, but definitely not necessary!
This is a great project for students and adults. Students who are 12-13 must express interest as part of an adult's family, group, or team. Express interest in any or all shifts below!
