2023 Summer Reading Buddies - Yonkers
Help prevent children in historically underserved communities from losing their literacy skills over the summer months by becoming a Volunteer Summer Reading Buddy. Summer Reading Buddies will be given books and worksheets to work one-on-one or in small groups with children in first through fifth grade. Volunteers may sign up for their choice of sessions; a commitment of at least one day per week is encouraged, but not required. This is an in-person project that will run on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 12-2:30 p.m. from July 5 to August 9. Express interest below!
