Outreach Volunteers for Free Breast Cancer Screenings
The Rotary of the Hudson Valley, in collaboration with Montefiore Einstein Cancer Center, is offering free early-detection breast cancer screenings using an innovative device called iBreastExam. These screenings involve no drugs, pain, surgery, or radioactivity, and they provide results within minutes. The screenings are free, at no cost to the patient, and they're open to all: insured, uninsured, and undocumented. The free screenings will take place at the Yonkers Public Library.
Volunteers are needed to help spread the word about these free screenings by handing out informational fliers and registering members of the public for these important screenings. Volunteers will be raising awareness at the Cross County Center on Saturday afternoons from 2-7 p.m. All training will be provided. Express interest below to learn how to help!
