2022-2023 Board Members (Finance Committee)
Sheltering the Homeless is Our Responsibility/Interfaith Council for Affordable Residence (SHORE/ICARE) is dedicated to addressing the critical needs of homeless families by providing and maintaining permanent homes where they can thrive in a healthy and safe environment. SHORE/ICARE is the only agency in Westchester that builds and renovates homes to provide permanent housing for homeless families.
SHORE/ICARE is a longstanding organization that is entering an exciting phase with funding from New York State and a new Executive Director joining the agency. SHORE/ICARE is seeking to bolster its financial management by adding a Board Member or two that has an understanding of financial statements (preferably nonprofit financial statements) and a passion for its mission. The right candidate(s) would serve on the full Board as well as the finance committee, which has responsibility for monitoring the financial performance of the agency, recommending annual budgets, and overseeing the results of the audit process.
Board Members typically meet the third Monday of the month from 7-9 p.m. Express interest below!
