2022 New Rochelle Juneteenth Event Volunteers

The Lincoln Park Conservancy, Inc. in partnership with the City of New Rochelle is spearheading a multi-day, multi-event celebration entitled "Songs for Our Fathers" to commemorate Juneteenth. Juneteenth Event Volunteers are needed to assist with the organization and management of a series of indoor and outdoor events taking place at several sites over several days. Volunteers are encouraged to express their interest in a specific day and time slot below (feel free to choose more than one date!).

There will be an orientation and volunteers will be provided with on-site supervisors to ensure a smooth event.

Volunteer projects include:

  • Setting up the event
  • Greeting visitors and distributing information to event attendees
  • Assisting with sales, table games, and food vendors
  • Assisting with the stage and green room
  • Assisting tour guides
  • Voter registration
  • Gallery-sitting
  • Cleaning up at closing
