Outreach & Membership Ambassadors
The Central Westchester Audubon Society (CWAS) aims to educate the community about birds and engage in activities that support birds in their natural environment. CWAS accomplishes this by hosting bird walks, book discussions, and educational programs as well as distributing a bimonthly newsletter to members.
The Central Westchester Audubon Society is looking for Volunteer Ambassadors to help increase awareness of its mission and participation in its programs. Ambassadors also help support programs and events with planning and participation).
Virtual and in-person opportunities are available. For in-person projects, volunteers are required to follow COVID-19 precautions such as temperature checks, screening questions, and face coverings.
