2021 Holiday Grab and Go Toy Giveaway
Join the Youth Community Outreach Program (Y-COP) of Mount Vernon for its annual Holiday Grab and Go Toy Giveaway for children in the community. Enthusiastic and creative volunteer "elves" are needed for the following activities:
- Wednesday, 12/15 from 5:30-8 p.m.: sorting and bagging toys (no wrapping)
- Thursday, 12/16 from 5:30-8 p.m.: sorting and bagging toys (no wrapping)
- Friday, 12/17 from 3-8 p.m.: decorating parking lot (donations of decorations will be gratefully accepted!), setting up toy stations (toys grouped by age), and helping with toy giveaway
All volunteers are asked to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination prior to arrival and all must wear protective face masks while volunteering. Guests will have their temperature checked upon arrival. This project will be held outdoors, so dress warmly!
