Opportunity Details
Rock N Rescue is in need of drivers to drive its van to predetermined pick-up locations and transport cats (and sometimes dogs) to its site in South Salem. The mini-van will be packed with crates for the rescue animals, who will be placed by volunteers assisting at the pick-up location. The Volunteer Driver will then load the crates into the van and carefully transport the rescue animals to Rock N Rescue.
Pick-ups are typically scheduled for Saturday mornings and can happen in Queens, New Jersey, or in Allentown, Pennsylvania. (The drive to Allentown from Rock N Rescue is 2.5 hours.)
This project requires volunteers to complete a second step. To volunteer:
