2021-2022 Volunteer Program Greeters
GiGi's Playhouse Down Syndrome Achievement Center Westchester is currently looking for program greeters for its in-person programming. Schedules are flexible, and the majority of programming is scheduled after school during the week and on Saturday mornings. Volunteer Program Greeters will work closely with the program leaders and the program manager.
GiGi's Playhouse is looking for 2-4 Program Greeters and the total commitment will be about 1-2 hours per month.
The responsibilities of a greeter are:
- To welcome families to the Playhouse
- To complete the Health Questionnaire
- To support families and volunteers in signing in
- To engage and support the families where needed
Volunteer requirements:
- Must be 16+
- Must attend a one-hour orientation and complete a training course
- Must observe 1-2 programs
- Once these requirements have been fulfilled, a background check will be required
