2021-2022 Weekend Program Managers
GiGi's Playhouse Down Syndrome Achievement Center Westchester is currently looking for Weekend Program Managers to ensure that the weekend programs run smoothly. Flexibility is required and full training will be given.
Volunteer Weekend Program Managers will open the playhouse, welcome families, support the program leader and volunteers, ensure that the playhouse is cleaned after the program, and lock up. The commitment for this opportunity can range from 3-8 hours a month and will mainly take place on Saturday mornings.
Volunteer requirements:
- Must be 18+
- Must be responsible, confident, conscientious, motivated, and enthusiastic
- Must attend a one-hour orientation and complete the training courses
- Program observations are recommended
- Once these requirements have been fulfilled, a background check will be completed
