2021 Wish-Granting Volunteers
Make-a-Wish Hudson Valley is looking for volunteers to work directly with Make-a-Wish children and their families to help make the child's dreams come true through creativity and imagination.
Volunteers will:
- Working in teams of two, meet with a Make-a-Wish child to discover, plan, and fulfill their wish using donated goods and services whenever possible
- Commit the time needed to make each wish as unique as the child to create a lasting, memorable experience for the child and their family
- Demonstrate excellent people skills, sensitivity, dependability, and flexibility
- Have creative energy, entrepreneurial enthusiasm, the ability to give freely of their time
- Participate in a pre-training interview and attend a Wish Granter Training (when available)
- Be at least 21 years of age
Bilingual volunteers are encouraged to apply in order to help Spanish-speaking families!
