American Red Cross: Virtual Volunteer Information Session

The American Red Cross is looking for volunteers in Westchester and Rockland Counties. Join this virtual volunteer information session (Microsoft Teams) to learn how you can make a difference and to #BeAHero in your community.

During this session, prospective volunteers will learn:

  • How to provide disaster response assistance, including shelter, food, and comfort following a home fire, flood, tornado, or other emergency
  • How to assist at blood drives, which keep our nation's blood supply stable
  • How to provide support to American Red Cross clients using your experience as a nurse or therapist
  • How to share the American Red Cross story with its Communications Department
  • Why American Red Cross volunteers are so passionate about what they do
