Volunteer Virtual Information Session: Hurricane Season & COVID-19

During this information session, volunteers will learn about the mission and vision of the American Red Cross, as well as the organization's new short-term volunteer role for the upcoming hurricane season.

This new role asks volunteers to be prepared for the upcoming hurricane season—and continuing challenges from COVID-19—by training with the America Red Cross. Volunteers will need a valid driver’s license and be able to help support emergency shelters by staffing different areas, including reception, registration, feeding, dormitory, information collection, and performing other vital tasks. Both associate and supervisory level opportunities are available for volunteers who want to build up their skills and experience. Find out more information by registering for the information session!
