Volunteer eTutors
JCY-Westchester Community Partners' eTutor Program matches volunteer mentors with children to help them with their remote assignments using the Zoom platform. JCY will work with its partner schools to determine which students need assistance; the organization will then match them with volunteer mentors. Matching will most likely commence in late September through early November. Once a mentor is matched, they will meet online with their student over Zoom for an hour once per week. Mentors may be asked to mentor two students for a total of two hours a week. This program will run through late May or early June.
Note: volunteer mentors are asked for their preference of age, subject matter, and schedule. Please be as flexible as possible to maximize JCY's ability to match mentors with a student.
