Create Face Masks For Your Community

Masks For NY is encouraging locals to pick up their sewing needles and start crafting masks to provide to healthcare heroes, essential workers, and neighbors in need. This is a wonderful remote activity that families can do together from home or that teens can complete for their community service requirements.

Please note:
This is a self-directed project. Volunteers are responsible for supplying their own materials and following COVID-19 protocols when creating masks. After selecting a recipient for the masks (any hospital, clinic, shelter, school, or nonprofit organization of their choosing), we recommend that volunteers contact the organization first to ensure it is accepting mask donations and to receive specific instructions for their donation.
