Coaches--Partnership for Student Advancement, Inc.
This charity provides a 3 year business readiness program for underserved high school students and requires a half day a month commitment from coaches.
Volunteers are needed to serve as coaches. Training for volunteer coaches is provided in three hour segments once every few months on the topics to be delivered to students in one-on-one sessions. Outlines are also provided for topics such as presentation skills, interview skills, behavior in the office, strengths and weaknesses, budgeting, and more.
This opportunity is at Port Chester High School working with 15 and 16 year old students starting in late September or early October.
