2019-2021 Garden Educators - Trinity School
We're looking for garden educators to assist in teaching New Rochelle elementary students about gardening, plants, science, and nature. The hands-on classes are conducted seasonally during the school year. Volunteer Educators would be working side-by-side with experienced professionals with the goal of becoming proficient in teaching the curriculum.
Required credentials include education with an interest in gardening, plus a background check. Retired teachers are ideal candidates! After gaining the ability to lead the class, a small hourly stipend is available. This work is enriching, enjoyable, and fun, and the students are enthusiastic and interested.
