Weekly Drop-In Parent Child Program Volunteer Staff Member

Let’s Play! A Place for Families is a 501(c)3 weekly drop-in parent-child program located in Tarrytown and serving the diverse Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow community of families with children from birth to age 5. Let's Play has partnered with the Foundation of the Public Schools of the Tarrytowns to incorporate the newly launched Tarrytown Sleepy Hollow Basics into our program (www.TTSHBasics.org).

We are in urgent need of a Bilingual staff member who has experience working with young children and their families, is warm and enthusiastic, and is either already familiar with Basics or is willing to learn (training will be provided). This position would be joining the current staff of 3 and would be interacting with families during each session, with a focus on the Basics, as well as planning group activities centered on the Basics principals. Ideally the person would also be willing to join in on planning and information meetings for the Basics as availability permits.

Hours are Tuesdays from 9:30am-11:30am. This is officially a volunteer staff position, but we do pay a stipent of $30 per week ($15 per hour of the program).
