2018 Spring Break Creative Arts Therapy Volunteers
Heartsong provides a unique program of art, dance, and music therapy for individuals with disabilities.
Volunteers will assist as participants build on social skills, language, self-esteem, fine motor skills and more.
Program Date & Time:
- February 20-23 (9-12pm)
- Help with set-up and clean-up
- Work directly with participants to engage them in therapy sessions under the supervision of Lead Therapists
- Applicants must be 15 years of age or older
- Submission of volunteer application, including medical form to be completed by physician, and attend a mandatory orientation session
- Consistent commitment to assigned times
- Ability to demonstrate compassion, patience and follow directions
