Julia Robinson Mathematics Festival

https://www.jrmf.org/

To empower every child to enjoy problem solving. The Julia Robinson Mathematics Festival (JRMF) is an international organization that hosts in-person and online math festivals. A math festival is an event that provides students the opportunity to explore multiple different, hands-on math activities that gives them the ability to problem solve with agency, play, and joy. The target age for our festivals are 3rd-8th graders, but we have hosted festivals for kids of all ages. Volunteers are needed to facilitate our many activities and guide students through the discovery process. Although we recommend that our volunteers have a background in education or math outreach, we have trained volunteers from all backgrounds to be engaging, powerful facilitators at our events. As long as you enjoy working with kids and have a positive attitude towards math, we would be happy to welcome you to the JRMF volunteer community!
